HOMECOMING COURT: Queen Chris Kowalski surrounded by her attendants, Nancy Herzberg, Lynda Huff, Diane Weidenmiller, Ursula Bujak.
WHICH MEANING FITS YOU?
It isn't often that one word in the English language can have so many different meanings for so many different people. The word Homecoming fits this description, because to each of us it has its own special meaning.
To the student Homecoming means the construction of a float, the crowning ofa queen, the playing of a football game on a crisp autumn night, and that special date at the Home- coming Ball.
To the faculty the word brings mixed emotions. In the preparation of Homecoming activi- ties many a well laid lesson plan is interrupted. But when the end product is on display, there isn't a teacher in the crowd that isn't rewarded by the thought of knowing his interrupted class sessions contributed to this colorful event.
To the parents Homecoming brings the joy of seeing their daughter brimming over with ex- citement following that special invitation to the dance; or it may bring from their son a request to use the family car complete with funds to cover the event.
Turn the word around and you have its meaning for the alumni . . . a time for coming home. It is a time to renew old friendships and to linger a moment in the past. lt is a time to once again stand when the school song is played.
. which meaning fits you? James Leach

Ор Time of NES. They were there
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going, ` could very well be the motto of Mr. Cuth- bertson and Mr. Quick, who took over their adminis- trative positions at a time of need.
Both men proved capable of handling the duties that accompany the two highest positions in the building. During their stay in the office both wore two hats; Mr. Cuthbertson served as principal and athletic director while Mr. Quick carried the duties of assistant principal and head football coach.
Thanks to Mr. “С” and Coach Quick, Buena Vista High School was able to carry on in a time when leadership was needed.

They attract customers
— because they're colorful.
Their durability is proved by tests

change for 10 years and will not blister, peel, crack, flake, check or chip for 15 years.
They're available in a wide variety of sizes
— and when you outgrow your build- ing, it's easy to remove an endwall, add framing and panels, replace the endwall and you have a larger building to fit your needs.
<>
They're quickly planned, erected and finished
—because we can supply complete construction service.
They're efficient
—because they can provide thou- sands of square feet of column-free work space.
As a matter of fact, we offer a complete building service ... from site preparation, design assistance and even financing. Just call us.
